How we handle your information

HumAIne.ae may collect information that you choose to provide when you contact us or register for the AI Hackathon, including your name, email address, phone number, school or university, age or educational level, and team or project details.

We use this information to manage registrations, communicate event updates, answer enquiries, organize teams and judging, maintain event safety, and administer certificates or prizes. We only use personal information for the purpose for which it was collected or where otherwise permitted by applicable UAE law.

Registration may be handled through Google Forms. Information submitted through that service is also subject to Google’s privacy practices. We may share relevant information with event venues, judges, mentors, service providers, or partners only where reasonably necessary to operate the event. We do not sell personal information.

We retain information only for as long as reasonably required for the event, our legal obligations, and legitimate administrative records. We take reasonable measures to protect it, although no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

You may ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent where applicable, by emailing info@humaine.ae. A parent or guardian should contact us regarding information submitted by a participant under the applicable age of consent.

We may update this policy when our website, event processes, or legal obligations change. The latest version will always appear on this page.
